1) Information about the collection of personal data and contact details

HabitHub is a habit tracking application. The following information describes how personal data is handled when using the app. Personal data refers to any information that can be used to personally identify you.

The person responsible for data processing in relation to this app within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) can be contacted via email: sani.letchu@gmail.com. The person responsible for processing personal data is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

2) Contact

When contact is made (e.g., via email), personal data may be collected. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to inquiries or for communication and related technical administration. The legal basis for processing this data is the legitimate interest in responding to inquiries in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If the contact is made with the aim of concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Data will be deleted once the request has been processed, provided that it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter has been fully resolved and there are no legal retention obligations to the contrary.

3) Data processing for contract processing

3.1

For processing contracts concluded through the app, cooperation occurs with service providers who assist in whole or in part with the execution of concluded contracts. Certain personal data may be transmitted to these service providers in accordance with the information below.

Payment data may be passed on to the commissioned payment service provider as part of the payment process, provided this is necessary for payment processing. The legal basis for data transfer is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

3.2 RevenueCat

For in-app payments, processing is handled via RevenueCat Inc., 300 Euclid Avenue San Francisco, CA 94118, USA. Information provided during the ordering process, along with order details, is passed to RevenueCat Inc.

Data is passed on in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b GDPR exclusively for payment processing and only to the extent necessary for this. An order processing contract has been concluded with RevenueCat Inc., obliging the provider to protect app user data and not to pass it on to third parties.

4) Data storage

All habit data and personal information entered into the app is stored exclusively on your device. No habit data, completion records, or other personal information is transmitted to external servers or stored in the cloud, unless you explicitly choose to use backup or export features.

You have full control over your data. You can export your data at any time, and all data can be deleted by uninstalling the app or using the app's data deletion features.

5) Rights of the data subject

Applicable data protection law grants you comprehensive data subject rights (rights to information and intervention) regarding the processing of your personal data:

  • Right to information (Article 15 GDPR): You have the right to obtain information about your personal data processed, the purposes of processing, categories of personal data, recipients, planned storage period, and your rights.
  • Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR): You have the right to immediate rectification of incorrect data and/or completion of incomplete data.
  • Right to deletion (Article 17 GDPR): You have the right to request deletion of your personal data if the requirements are met.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR): You have the right to request restriction of processing under certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR): You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to revoke consent (Article 7(3) GDPR): You have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.
  • Right to lodge a complaint (Article 77 GDPR): You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.

5.2 RIGHT TO OBJECT

If personal data is processed on the basis of a balancing of interests, you have the right to object to this processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation.

If you exercise your right to object, processing of the data in question will be stopped. However, further processing remains reserved if compelling legitimate grounds can be demonstrated that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if processing serves the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.
